The Archdiocese of the Syriac Orthodox Church for the Eastern United States and St. Mark's Syriac Orthodox Cathedral will be hosting the 55th Annual Archdiocesan Convention July 25-28 at the Glenpointe Marriott Hotel in Teaneck, NJ. Please note, the church will be closed on Sunday July 28th; instead, morning prayers will be at the convention hotel at 9 am and Holy Liturgy will be celebrated there at 10 am. Other notes that weekend: For kids 3-years and older during the convention, there is special Sunday School activities, on Saturday, July 27th from 11:45-1:15 here at our church.
