From Father Eli Shabo: God is There

1 Corinthians 18: “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”

Oh holy father we stand before you today asking that you be with us today. That you bless us, to inspire us. To make us understand and appreciate the gift of eternal life which Jesus has given us. Bring us back to the sheepfold as we stray away from you, Oh Lord. Be with us always, carry us on your shoulder when we stumble. Bless us Lord, satisfy our hunger, and heal our ailments. Enrich us with your goodness so that we may boast to the world about you always. We thank you, Lord, we bless your name, we worship you now always and forever.

After the 14th of September until the beginning of November, we speak about the cross. Because of the cross we are restored to our original state – God created us to be perfect and live in paradise forever. But you know what happened, we broke the law and we got kicked out. God then brought Jesus here to pay the price of sin on our behalf so that we may live in heaven. It is very simple.

Save yourself first and leave the rest of the children to their father. It is very important to see that life is to save ourselves. Surrender your life to him so that he may be leading your life.

Matthew 11:28-30: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

We all have doubts sometimes, but God is there. And if you don’t believe in God who else can we believe? Is anyone here in trouble, sick, depressed? If you this is you, come to Jesus, lay on him your troubles and see patiently if he will answer

By the cross we defeat our enemies. Jesus tells us “Carry my cross and follow me” – by this he means suffer for me. Be proud of your faith.
